Cave trips

Wild caving in living limestone

Natural caves carved by water over thousands of years — squeeze, climb and wade through some of Britain's finest systems in the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales.

Cave formations and flowstone underground
The experience

No two trips are the same

Caves are alive — shaped by water that's still flowing today. Following stream passages, scrambling over boulders and admiring formations that took millennia to grow, you'll get a real sense of how the underground world was made. We move at a pace that suits your group and stop often to take it all in.

  • Crawling & climbing
  • Some wading
  • Formations & geology
  • First-timers welcome

Which cave will we visit? Because caves are live, water-filled systems, we can't confirm exactly which one we'll explore until nearer the time. The final choice depends on recent weather and cave conditions, so we can always pick the safest and most enjoyable option on the day.
